Memory Lane

I saw an idea once to display a Christmas picture from each year in a cute-sy way. I actually found the time to get prints made from the past 6 years of our marriage, but have not figured out how or where to display them. Maybe next year. :) So here we go...a walk down Hobbs lane...

Christmas 2005- Look how young we look! Our first year of marriage- we were in Warner Robins, GA in our Lenox Park Apartment. Brad's first year of med school.  He got me a kitten for Christmas that year to keep me company while he was busy at school- Isabelle was our first "baby".

2006- We were in our first HOUSE! We were in the Forest Pine house and of course included sweet Izzy in the picture this year. Are those bags under my eyes?? NO! Because we were still young and carefree and sleeping at this stage:)

2007- So carefree that the next year we went on a fun trip to Asheville, NC and hiked a mountain with our sweet friends Shaefer and Kristina (oh what fun memories!!).

More 2007...but look how in love we are! :)

2008- BIG Christmas for us...we welcomed precious Caroline into our lives!! She was 4 weeks old on Christmas. She rocked our world in such a fabulous way and we became PARENTS for Christmas that year. Amazing.

2009- Our first Christmas in Little Rock in the Brentwood house. Caroline had just turned 1 and I was 7 months pregnant with sweet Emily. I remember I tried to wear black to "hide" the bump..lol..pretty obvious I'm storing a few more pounds than usual. :) Brad was in the middle of his 1st year of residency. I think the bags under both of our eyes began to really set in...

2010-Our family of 4! Emily joined our crew and the picture taking challenges began. Little did we know what the NEXT year would hold. We were beyond blessed by having 2 little redheads running around that year in our Brentwood house. Nice sweater Brad...I think I've seen that one before...oh wait! It was in our FIRST Christmas picture in 2005. He noticed that the other night and I told him he would probably be wearing it again in 2012's card. It's a good sweater. :)

And now this year, 2011! I will share those pictures with you another day. They make for good laughs. We are so blessed and thankful to be able to look back over our 6 1/2 years of marriage, 12 years of dating, and praise the Lord for all the blessings He has given us.
